Maria Beatrice Coppi

Maria Beatrice Coppi is a sensitive artist of refined culture, grew up in Rome in an artistic contest that was still prejudiced towards women painters, but yearning to learn and experiment with al the techniques an materials, conscious that there’s always something to be learned from everything and everyone. Her artistic studies developed from a classical education and the force of her artistic personality has enabled her over years of intense research to master a variety of techniques ranging from painting with both brush and spatula, ceramics and sculpture, and finally to that of the fresco, to which she imparts a high poetic sense. There is a lot of passion in the paintings of Maria Beatrice Coppi, a passion able to involve, that flows from the lines and the colors, and that seems to find easily a path between the intention of the artist and the feelings of those who are in contact with the painting. She is an attentive observer of nature, from which she draws the creative inspiration and vitality that animate her canvasses with the warm vitality of her spirit.This can be seen particularly in her landscapes, and her masterly representation of the human form. She has had exhibitions in major cities both in Italy and abroad, and always received great appreciation both from the public and critics, winning prestigious prizes and acclaim.
